The Pre-licensing course can be completed in a classroom or through distance learning/virtual classroom. If you opt to take the classroom version, you will receive an MV-278 Pre-licensing Certificate of Completion. Whatever version you select to study, all courses use the same curriculum. The provider will automatically record your completion to the DMV after you have successfully completed your course. You won't be required to present a certificate in order to be able to sit for your driver's exam.
